What is the SCDA?
SCDA stands for 'Scottish Community Drama Association'
The SCDA aim to support and foster creativity in performance and writing throughout Scotland, they support members and clubs in artistic, personal and social development with an aim to develop links and partnerships throughout the theatrical world and the voluntary sector and to act as an advocate for community and amateur theatre.
The Association is represented by a number of individuals throughout Scotland. These representations are made throughout divisions defined by location and districts within each division. The work of each division and district is overseen by a dedicated committee, whilst the work of the Association as a whole is overseen by its National and Executive Committees.

The SCDA as a whole is a Registered Scottish Charity with the number SC021397, whilst each of the divisions and districts below are their own registered charity working under the SCDA umbrella.
