One-Act Play Festival

Each year, SCDA host a nationwide one-act play festival which has become widely known as 'Scotland's One-Act Play Festival'.

The festival is a competition consisting of four rounds. The Association is divided into four divisions, each with a number of local districts and this is where the festival begins.

The festival is split into two sections:
  • Open (for Senior Entries)
  • Youth (for Junior, Intermediate and Senior Age Categories)

Youth teams have the opportunity of entering both sections. The festival takes place annually between the months of February and June.
