Little Grimley's attempt at pantomime does not go to plan!
This play is another David Tristam comedy featuring he same gloriously dysfunctional Little Grimley Amateur Dramatic Society from "Last Tango in Little Grimley".
This time, Gordon, Margaret, Joyce and Bernard decide that the answer to their problem is that great amateur-theatre institution... the Christmas pantomime. Unfortunately, Little Grimley being Little Grimley, their attempt at putting on a pants doesn't exactly go to plan. The group has to contend with its usual lack of resources, questionable theatrical ability, internal disagreements and Gordon's increasingly desperate attempt to make the production work.
Like Last Tango, a lot of the humour comes from anyone who's ever been involved in amateur dramatics recognising the situations- dodgy rehearsals, temperamental performers, technical disasters and the absolute determination that the show must go on, regardless of how badly things are falling apart!
Should we have sufficient interest, we would also look to cast two short comedy sketches to be performed alongside the main play.

Availability Must be prepared to attend rehearsals 2 evenings per week and on a Sunday afternoon. Days for evening rehearsals would be agreed and decided upon casting. Performances x2 evening performances at Wick Assembly Rooms from Thursday 10th - Friday 11th December 2026. |
