Articles of Association
Articles of Association are a legal document that outlines how a company is run and how it operates. They are a key part of a company's constitution and are required for all limited companies in the UK.
As a company limited by guarantee, Companies House must approve and accept any alterations made to our articles. If as a registered Scottish charity we wish to alter our company objectives, it is important that we seek and obtain permission from OSCR (Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator) before doing so.
As a charity based in Caithness in the far north of Scotland, we also ensure that as an organisational member of Caithness Voluntary Group, they hold an up-to-date version of our Articles.
