Articles of Association
Articles of Association are a legal document that outlines how a company is run and how it operates. They are a key part of a company's constitution and are required for all limited companies in the UK.
As a company limited by guarantee, Companies House must approve and accept any alterations made to our articles. If as a registered Scottish charity we wish to alter our company objectives, it is important that we seek and obtain permission from OSCR (Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator).
As a charity based in Caithness in the far north of Scotland, we also ensure that as an organisational member of Caithness Voluntary Group, they hold an up-to-date version of our Articles.
